“Seeing places, cities or images, I try to absorb the energy that composes them … then, letting myself be guided by the memory of that energy, I create a” mapping “on the canvas that faithfully describes” in my own way “what I absorbed , representing with a “personal energy code” each piece or pixel that creates that particular “vision.” In this case, for the first time, I anticipated these sensations before experiencing them, seeing hundreds of images and videos of Guatemala and specifically of Antigua and I tried to fish in my previous lives memories that tied me to that place and transferred them to the canvas.This cycle of works is painted on natural pictorial canvas (untreated) precisely because the images and “memories” of Antigua evoke in me an approach of nature, simplicity and natural materials and not artifacts, even the colors are water based vinyl and solvent free. ”
